Copycat Jimmy’s Milan Salad

Ah…the memories. Going to Jimmy’s Milan in Center City Philadelphia and ordering the Milan Salad and the Ziti with Asparagus (back in the day when I was still eating gluten!). Those were the days. My sister and I used to go there all the time. Well, this Copycat Jimmy’s Milan Salad pays homage to that beloved dish. If you’re not familiar with Jimmy’s Milan or never had the pleasure of eating there, once you have this salad you’ll understand what all the fuss is about.

Notes

Many restaurants serve this salad with crumbled blue cheese. Other great add-ons would be diced or sliced avocado, crispy fried onion pieces, scallions or chives, fresh dill, etc.
Alternatively, delete or modify any of the above listed ingredients so the salad fits your taste buds.
If you don’t have cooked shrimp, bacon or hard-boiled eggs the recipe will take longer to make than stated above.
