Smashed Pickled Radishes

Smashed Pickled Radishes are part smash therapy, part pickled perfection—and 100% delicious. They’re ridiculously easy to make, ridiculously fun to smash, and a great way to turn humble radishes into something seriously addictive.

Organize ingredients – bunch of radishes, kosher salt, gf soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic (not shown), chili crisp oil (optional), sesame seeds, cilantro, and honey.
Smashing and Salting the Radishes


Smash the radishes with the side of a large knife until cracked but still together. Sprinkle radishes with 1 teaspoon kosher salt and let sit 15 minutes. Drain off any liquid.


In a medium/large-sized bowl, combine 1/2 tablespoon gf soy sauce, 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, 1 garlic clove minced, 1 teaspoon chili oil (if using), sesame seeds, cilantro and honey. Add the radishes to the mixture and toss together making sure the radishes get fully coated.

Let radishes sit for a minimum of one-hour refrigerated. Then begin snacking!

- 1-2 bunch radishes any color
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 tablespoon gluten free soy sauce I use San-J
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 garlic clove minced, grated, or pressed
- 1 teaspoon chili crisp oil (or 1/4 teaspoon chili flakes) optional
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds any color or a mix
- 1 tablespoon cilantro leaves rough chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon honey your favorite
Instructions
