Pour approximately 1/3 of a cup of teriyaki sauce into a shallow bowl. Set aside.
Season Salmon Fillets
Place salmon fillets on an oven-to-table tray or platter (or use a foil-lined tray). Brush fillets with olive oil and then season with salt and pepper.
Broil Salmon Fillets
Preheat broiler to high. Once broiler is preheated, place salmon on the top rack closest to the broiler heat. If salmon is touching the broiler coils, move rack down one notch. Keep oven door open slightly when broiling.
Once salmon begins to brown on top (approx. 7-8 minutes), brush on first layer of teriyaki sauce. Let it cook for approximately 30-45 seconds and then apply a second coating of the teriyaki sauce and cook an additional 30-45 seconds. The sauce should be carmelized and browned in spots.
