Ingredients
1/3cupSoy Vay Veri Veri Teriyakigluten free
1teaspoonOlive Oildivided between 2 salmon fillets
Kosher Salt and Pepper to season salmon
2Salmon Filletsapproximately 6 oz portions
Sesame Seeds for garnish (if desired)
Instructions
Pour 1/3 of a cup of teriyaki sauce into a shallow bowl. Set aside.
Pre-heat broiler to high.
Place salmon fillets on an oven-to-table tray or platter (or use a foil or parchment-lined tray).
Brush fillets with olive oil and then season with salt and pepper.
Once broiler is preheated, place salmon on the top rack closest to the broiler coils. If salmon is touching the broiler coils, move rack down one notch. Keep oven door open slightly when broiling.
Once salmon begins to brown on top (approx. 7-8 minutes), brush on first coating of teriyaki sauce. Let it cook on for approximately 30-45 seconds and then apply a second coating of the teriyaki sauce and cook for an additional 30-45 seconds. The sauce should be carmelized and browned in spots.
Broil salmon for 8-10 minutes total.
Garnish with sesame seeds (if desired) and serve.

For garnish consider using sliced scallions, chopped cilantro, and/or parsley.
