Avocado and Cucumber Plate
The combination of crunchy cucumbers with creamy avocado is perfect. Add the basics…olive oil, kosher salt and pepper, a squeeze of lemon…and your healthy and refreshing breakfast (or snack) is ready!
Slice (or dice) the avocado and cucumber. Arrange on a plate. Drizzle olive oil, kosher salt, freshly ground pepper and a squeeze of lemon.
Breakfast is served.
Avocado and Cucumber Plate
Ingredients
- 1/2 Avocado sliced
- 1 persian or kirby cucumber sliced
- Squeeze of Lemon
- Kosher Salt and Pepper to taste
- Olive Oil extra virgin
Instructions
- Cut avocado in half, remove the skin and then slice (or dice).
- Cut off cucumber ends and then slice. If using Kirby cucs, peel the cucumber before slicing.
- Arrange avocado and cucumber on a plate.
- Season with salt, pepper and lemon. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Serve immediately to prevent avocado from turning brown on the edges.
