Gently place eggs in a pot and cover with cold tap water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 12 minutes. Let rest for at least 5 minutes and then place in an ice water bath for 3 or so minutes, until eggs are cool enough to peel. By placing them in an ice water bath the eggs become super-easy to peel.

- Large Eggs
Instructions
- Gently put eggs in a single layer in a pot of cold tap water, enough to cover the eggs.
- Bring to a boil and then turn down flame to a simmer.
- Simmer for 12 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the burner and let sit for at least five minutes.
- Then place eggs in an ice water bath for 3 or so minutes, until eggs are cool enough to peel. By placing them in an ice water bath the eggs become super-easy to peel.
- Peel eggs or store them in the refrigerator until ready to peel.
