Salmon with Creamy Dill Dressing
Whether you want a light dinner on a warm evening or need a main course for a picnic or potluck, Salmon with Creamy Dill Dressing is the perfect choice. It’s super easy to make (and transport, if need be) and can be served warm, room temp, or cold.
Jump to RecipePrep and Broil the Salmon
Cut salmon into approx. 1 1/2″ pieces. Zest 1/2 a lemon and combine olive oil with kosher salt and pepper.
Then place salmon pieces on a foil-lined baking sheet. For easier clean up, combine salmon with lemon zest, olive oil, salt, and pepper right on the baking sheet. Broil salmon for approximately 5 minutes, until cooked through. Leave oven door slightly ajar while broiling.
Creamy Dill Dressing
While salmon is cooking, make the Creamy Dill Dressing. Mix together the heavy cream, sour cream, dill, cucumber, celery, red onion, and lemon. Set the dressing aside.
Salad Greens
Use a head (or package, as I have done) of Boston, Bibb, or Little Gem lettuce with leaves separated.
Salmon with Creamy Dressing
Arrange lettuce on a platter and then top with salmon pieces and creamy dill dressing. Garnish with more dill and enjoy!
