Organize and prepare all ingredients for the soy marinade/sauce. Then in a medium-size bowl stir all ingredients together.
Coat Filets with Soy Marinade
When cooking for four people, I buy the pre-cut filets. Place filets into a bowl and coat with marinade, making sure all sides are coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let stand at room temp for one hour.
Place filets on the heated grill and cover. Approximately 10 minutes on the initial side and another 8 minutes on the other side. Grilling time will depend greatly on the thickness of your filets so use this timing as a guide.
Heat Marinade
While steaks are cooking, pour the remaining marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Then reduce heat to medium-low to convert marinade into a delicious sauce.
