Dressing

To make the dressing, mix the lime zest, lime juice, fish sauce, oil and sugar together. To minimize clean up, I make the dressing in a large bowl so that I can put the slaw, onions, and cilantro right on top.

Pre-packaged Shredded Cabbage

Use pre-packaged shredded slaw mix to simplify the process. These days there’s a variety of interesting shredded “slaw” mixes including kale, broccoli, and cabbage. Choose your favorite or use a mixture. Place shredded slaw in the large bowl on top of the dressing.

This slaw is perfect as a side for heavy meals or for summertime bbqs!
Adding crushed peanuts and/or sliced radishes would be delicious salad additions.
