Crunchy Thai Slaw – Gluten Free
Looking for a different salad that’s quick and easy to make? Look no further. Crunchy Thai Slaw – Gluten Free has the perfect combination of crunch and tang. It’s also colorful and quite refreshing. Use pre-packaged slaw mixes as a shortcut to simplify the recipe and shorten the prep time.

To make the dressing, mix the lime zest, lime juice, fish sauce, oil and sugar together. To minimize clean up, I make the dressing in a large bowl so that I can put the slaw, onions, and cilantro right on top.
Pre-packaged Shredded Cabbage
Use pre-packaged shredded slaw mix to simplify the process. These days there’s a variety of interesting shredded “slaw” mixes including kale, broccoli, and cabbage. Choose your favorite or use a mixture. Place shredded slaw in the large bowl on top of the dressing.
Combine Slaw with Red Onions, Herbs and Dressing
Add thinly sliced red onion and either chopped cilantro, basil, and/or mint to the slaw and dressing. Pick your favorite herb(s). Mix all ingredients together 1/2 hour or so before you are ready to serve.
