Ingredients
1 1/2Bags of Bibb lettuceromaine, iceberg and/or frisée can also be used
1CupJumbo Lump Crabmeat
2Radishes washed sliced or chopped
1/4Red Pepper (green, yellow and/or orange)diced
1-2Hard Boiled Eggschopped
1Avocadodiced
Handful of Cherry Tomatoes halved
1/4-1/3CupOnionRed or White, chopped
2-4slicesSwiss Cheese (substitute your favorite cheese)sliced & cut into pieces
1Cucumber sliced or chopped
Kosher Salt and Fresh Ground Pepperto taste
Serve with Thousand Island Dressingor with your favorite dressing
Instructions
Transfer the bag(s) of lettuce to a big bowl.
Add next 9 ingredients in a triangular pattern on top of the lettuce, as shown in photo above.
Serve with Thousand Island Dressing on the side.
Notes
Crumbled bacon would also be delicious in this salad.For presentation purposes, I serve this salad with the dressing on the side. You can add, delete or modify any of the ingredients mentioned in this salad. For example, if you like edamame, add them. If you don't like onions omit them. If you're not a swiss cheese person, substitute blue cheese (or your favorite cheese). You get the idea.If you don't have time to organize the salad as a Cobb, just layer the ingredients in as you would for a traditional salad.
