Notes
Any fruit can be substituted for the figs and peaches. Use what’s in season or whatever is your favorite.Grilling the fruit (especially if it isn't as sweet as you'd like it to be) is also a fun way to go.Use your favorite cheese. I used Trader Joe's Goat Cheese with Honey. Keep cheese refrigerated until ready to use to make it easier to crumble.Other fruit-flavored vinegars can be substituted for the strawberry vinegar. If you don’t have flavored vinegars and oils on hand, use my Classic Balsamic Vinaigrette. It goes perfectly with this salad too.Homemade Gluten Free Granola If you’re not gluten free, use your favorite brand of granola.Toasted nuts are a good substitution for the granola.
